Mobile EV charging

Intelligent Energy.
Wherever You Go.

Voltlora is developing battery-backed mobile EV charging for the places people park. We work with site owners to assess demand, plan deployment and agree how the service will operate.

The idea

Charging, shaped
around the place.

A car park, a shopping visit or a stop on a journey can each be a charging opportunity. Whether a site suits mobile charging depends on its demand, dwell time and how it operates day to day. We start there.

The mobile charging vehicle

Stored energy.
Mobile charging.

The proposed Voltlora Mobile Charging Vehicle combines battery storage and EV charging in a relocatable unit. Its configuration and operating plan are selected around the needs of the site.

01Battery storage
Energy is stored on board, so charging can be offered where it is needed.

How a site partnership works

Four stages, from first conversation to review.

This is our intended service model. Each step is agreed with the site owner before it begins.

  1. Stage 1

    Assess

Understand parking demand, dwell time, access, electrical supply and permissions.

  2. Stage 2

    Configure

Agree equipment, layout, replenishment, responsibilities and commercial terms.

  3. Stage 3

    Operate

Deploy and commission under the agreed plan, with maintenance and support responsibilities defined.

  4. Stage 4

    Review

Assess utilisation and operating results before expanding or relocating.

Potential applications

Where it
could work.

Settings we are exploring for mobile charging. Every location is assessed on its own merits.

  • City-centre and commercial car parks

Long stays and predictable footfall make room for charging during the working day.

  • Supermarkets and retail parks

Charging that fits naturally around a weekly shop.

  • Shopping centres

Longer visits and multi-storey or surface parking at scale.

  • Restaurants and drive-throughs

Short, regular stops along busy local routes.

  • Motorway services and roadside destinations

Capacity where journeys pause, including at peak travel times.

  • Dealerships, storage and fleet sites

Charging for vehicles on site without waiting for fixed infrastructure plans.

  • Temporary sites and extra capacity

Events, seasonal demand or support for existing charging locations.

For site owners

A partnership built
around your site.

We propose a managed deployment with a profit-sharing arrangement rather than fixed ground rent. The basis of the calculation and how results are reported are agreed for each site, following assessment.

Responsibilities for electricity, metering, access, installation, maintenance, insurance and reporting are set out clearly for every location before anything goes ahead.

Looking ahead

Beyond mobile charging.

In time, some sites may benefit from site-specific storage, solar and energy management. This is future development. Our focus today is mobile charging.

Illustrative future concept.

Questions

Regular parking demand, a reasonable dwell time, safe vehicle access and space to position the unit. We look at each of these together during an assessment.
